Swimming Pool

In 1953, the Swimming Pool was constructed at a cost of $55,000. Initially, the citizens voted against the bonds for the Park Improvements in August 1952. In February 1953, the initiative passed with a narrow margin of only 36 votes in favor. The 188,000-gallon pool had an operating budget of $3,923 for its first year in 1954. Today, the annual cost to operate the pool is over $40,000.

Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 1:00 - 6:00 P.M. Closed on Mondays.

Admission: Adults/Students $5.00 & Ages 1-5 $2.00.

Season passes: Individuals $100.00, Family up to 4 members $150.00 & $50.00 for each additional family member.

Pool Party Rentals: $75.00 per hour, 2-hour minimum. Rentals from 6:00-8:00 p.m. or 8:00-10:00 p.m.
