The City has a Public Storm Shelter located in the Community Center. Signs are posted on the outside of the entrance.
We have all come to realize that change is constant and it's never too early to be prepared. Be ready for an emergency by having a grab and go bag of essential items. For tips on how to plan ahead, go to ready.gov.
When you hear the City sirens sound continuously for one minute, a tornado has been spotted and you should seek shelter immediately.
When you hear one short City siren, for a few seconds, all is clear and it is safe to come out of shelter.
