Frequently Asked Questions

Who can I contact after-hours about a water/sewer emergency?

You may call City Hall at (806) 259-3001. Phones are transferred after 5:00 p.m. everyday and on weekends to the Water Department after-hours phone.

Why is my bill so high?

You could possibly have a running toilet, a faucet that is leaking, or the meter could have been read wrong. Call City Hall and we'll work with you to find a solution to the problem.

Why do I have a previous balance on my bill when I know I paid?

We may have received your payment during billing or after bills were printed. Call our office and we will help you solve the problem.

Why was my water shut off even though I made a partial payment?

If you have received a disconnection notice, you have till the date on the notice to pay the full past due amount. If you are needing to make payment arrangements prior to the shut off date on the notice, you will need to call the Water Clerk to help set-up a payment plan for your past due amount.
